Short Walks Walking Group

Our friendly walking group continues all year round. We meet on Wednesday mornings, come along when you can.

Each walk is planned with a coffee & scone stop along the way. Some walkers end their walk here while others continue on. I ensure public transport is close by. Walks vary in length from 3 to 10 miles.

We are a large group and all walk at different places. There is no pressure to keep up. We will not leave anyone on their own. During the summer months we travel  to Arran, Rothesay, Dunoon, Kilcreggan, Millport and Glasgow. Public transport is usual method of transport but cars are required for some walks. Each passenger is required to give driver £2 towards petrol.I email everyone the day before giving details of the walk, meeting times and transport details. All you require is bus pass, water, suitable clothing and footwear.
